Who am I?

My name is Arnbjørg, or Annie, and I am a photographer from Norway specialising in underwater photography and filming. I am passionate about nature, the environment and conservation, and would like to use my photography to create awareness and tell stories about the life in our oceans as well as current environmental issues.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Marine & Natural History Photography from Falmouth University in 2016. In 2022 I completed a masters degree in Media Practices at Volda University College. For my masters project I made a documentary about kelp forests in Norway and what’s currently happening to them, with a focus on the spiny dogfish, one of the species relying on the kelp forests. The film is titled “The Shark in the Forest” (“Haien i skogen”).
